weight loss motivation stories
Tuesday, May 11th, 2010okay i am trying to get down a good few pounds and well i only have one thing keeping me motivated and it is that a girl i really hate. and well long personal story
anyway how can i keep motivated??
thanks..x
tarra i already have a 30″ waist lol
Two things:
Weight isnt an indicator of health or fitness levels. I know, I know, everyone uses weight as the ultimate test, but it’s pretty useless actually. Muscle is dense and bone is heavy. The bathroom scale doesnt show the difference in tone muscle, and excess fat. A fit and toned person could even be heavier then someone that’s overweight.
That said: Don’t have a goal to “loose wieght”. That’s a result, not a goal. Instead — Loose WAIST. Think, drop a dress size, or have a 30″ waist.
Waist is a noticable, measuable, and rewarding goal. Weight ISNT! Unless you lost a lot, nobody will notice the subtile loss – including yourself.
“Loosing waist” also means — new clothes!! I can’t think of a better reward for that kind of hard work and dedication then a brand new wardrobe!!
